I am so excited to finally be back to unbox a BookBoxxClub box after a year off! (I pay for these boxes myself and receive nothing from the company to unbox it with you, I just want to share the bookish goodness).
WARNING: This post contains spoilers for the June BookBoxClub box.
This months theme was Witches in the Woods! (All information has been taken from the spoiler card included in the box).
The first item in this box was a Forbidden Forest Mug with artwork by Moledro Craft Co. I think this might be one of my favourite items from the box, but I do love everything Harry Potter so I might be a bit biased. This is an enamel mug that I am definitely going to be using time and time again.
Next, we have Momo’s Herbal Hand Cream by Pretty Little Treats. It is inspired by this months book club pick and has a fresh citrusy scent that I adore!
We also have this Sabrina Coaster with artwork by Beatrice Joy Velasco. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has quickly become one of my new favourite TV shows so I am in love with this item.
Some yummies! We have some Vegan Caramel Marshmallows by Ananda Foods. These would be the perfect reading snack but I don’t like caramel, so I shall be giving them to my sister instead.
In this box, we are lucky enough to receive a bonus book by Deidre Sullivan called Tangleweed and Brine. This is a collection of fairytale reimaginings with a dark twist. My sister loves fairytales so I will also give her this item since I’m not a fan of short stories.
AND NOW THE MAIN EVENT… *drumrolls*
Perfectly Preventable Deaths by Deidre Sullivan:
First of all, I am in love with this cover.
Secondly, this book follows Caitlin and Madeline who move to a castle in Ireland and soon discover that this small town isn’t all that it seems to be and instead it is covered in dark secrets.
This book sounds right up my alley and I can’t wait to read it and talking about it with you all!
It also comes with a signed book plate!
Bookish Extra 1:
This box also came with this promotional item from Walker Books.
Bookish Extra 2:
It also came with this stunning print of the cover of the featured book that I can’t wait to stick up on my wall.
Overall, I loved this months box. A couple of items are no use to me but that’s just because of personal preferance and they are still going to get good use. BookBoxClub is one of my favourite subscription boxes since they always seem to include unique items that the mainstream boxes don’t!
