June FairyLoot Unboxing

It’s time for a FairyLoot unboxing! Let’s get into it with this months theme which was Broody Banter! (All information has been taken off of the spoiler card that was included in the box).

WARNING: This post contains spoilers for the June FairyLoot box.

I pay for these boxes myself and receive nothing from the company to unbox it with you, I just want to share the bookish goodness.

ITEM 1:
The first item we got in this box was this Mermaid Tea inspired by Lira from To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Cristo. It is made by @thetealeafco and is the flavour of strawberry and kiwi. I don’t normally drink tea but I’m excited to give the iced tea recipe on the back a go.

ITEM 2:
This woodmark is designed by @stellabookishart and includes a quote from Fire Falling by Elise Kova. It says ‘he tasted of sweet liquor, every delicious dark dream she ever had’. I love woodmarks and this artwork is gorgeous.

ITEM 3:
The third item is this Bloodwitch enamel pin designed by @ironandinkdesigns. It is inspired by Aeduan from The Witchlands series by Susan Dennard. I collect enamel pins and always love a new one to add to my collection.

ITEM 4:
These enamel paperclips are designed by @taratjah and include Jace from the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, Jacks from the Caraval series by Stephanie Garber, Rowan from the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas and a quote that says ‘mad but fab’. These are stunning and I can’t wait to use them with my Uni work.

ITEM 5:
We also received these Simmer Down Kitten socks inspired by the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout and are made by Team FairyLoot. They are so soft I had to put them on right away!

ITEM 6:
Next we have this Raven Boys Patch by @bookmarkd.tattoos and is inspired by Ronan from the Raven Cycle series by Maggie Stiefvater. I have a jacket covered in these patches and can’t wait to add this one onto it.

ITEM 7:
Another reading journal! This one covers the months July to December 2019 with the layouts designed by @fictionteadesigns and artwork by @monolimart. I want to get into using a reading journal so that I can keep track of everything and will be giving this one a go.

ITEM 8:
This next item is a secret book of banter designed by @noverantale. You can hide all sorts of trinkets in here and I am going to use it to store all of my FairyLoot tarot cards.

Tarot Cards:
Each month FairyLoot includes two character-based tarot cards. This month they are inspired by Harry Potter (of course, I am very excited about this). This month they are designed by @loweana.art.

ITEM 9:
Next we have this art print by @taratjah and it is inspired by Zuko from Avatar the Last Airbender.

On the other side is this cute comic.

Bookish Extras:
We got this extra promotional item, it is to celebrate the release of Shadow & Flame by Mindee Arnett which is the sequel to Onyx & Ivory which was a featured FairyLoot book that I adored last year. I can’t wait to dive into the sequel.

AND NOW THE MAIN EVENT…*drumrolls*

Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson:
This month’s featured book is absolutely gorgeous. I wouldn’t have picked it up by myself but now that I have it I am very interested. This book contains sword-wielding librarians, romance and of course, brooding characters with lots of banter!

This FairyLoot exclusive edition has shimmery sprayed edges, the picture doesn’t do it justice!

It even has a cute little FairyLoot logo on the back (I’m easily pleased).

Of course, it is also signed by the author.

Bookish Extra:
As always with FairyLoot, we have this months bookmark that matches the spoiler card.

Exclusive Bonus Chapter:
In this months FairyScoop we have an exclusive deleted chapter from the book.

Character Art:
We also have this character art of the book done by @arz28 which has the author letter on the other side.

And that’s a wrap! Each months box seems to get more and more jam-packed. I absolutely loved it! You can check out FairyLoot here. Until nextime!
